Day 1 at the Trench Camp in Portland, Oregon is in the books. And as a camp expert having hit hundreds of events I can safely say this is unique and better then all but 1 or 2 camps I have been too. The campers who made it out are getting their moneys worth and then some. 5'3" Freshmen who have never played line are working in with 6'8" Seniors to be who are on their way to college next season.
Into the mix come these legendary coaches. Almost all the best of the best linemen the Region has ever produced. The experience turned out to be one with Zen like qualities.
If a guitar player met Jimmy Page for 3 days and just jammed with him and hung out would he become better? Yes. Would he have enriched his life for sure!
Think of it that way and for these young grid iron hopefuls you will understand what is happening down at Lewis and Clark.
Our coverage is lengthy and will take considerable time to nail but it occurred to us that telling you about it would never replace being there. So using the power of Face Book and the I Phone we are going to take you into just a smidgeon of the Camp. If your in Portland are a Coach or Fan offensive or defensive line you should stop by. For those of you that are not here is a Video Look Into the teaching Going on Day 1 at TrenchCamp with Day 2 tomorrow 9-4 and Sunday 9-12 being the final session.
