US Army Combine Today Has Oregon, Idaho, Hawaii Studs Too

The State of Washington was not the only State sending some of their best to San Antonio.   From the mighty States of Oregon, Idaho and Hawaii they headed down to Texas too.  So it was up to us to cover these boys and get them their due.

Catch The Story we wrote covering all the info about this event and why it can be so crucial to the prospects who attend.  That also covered the best from the State of Washington in the Class fo 2014 who are in attendance and man what a great group that is!

Now on to these kids.  Here is a look at the other kids making it down for this top rated event.

From Oregon

Connor Humphreys Central CatholicConnor Humphreys Central Catholic HS

6-4″ – 250 Pounds Defensive End

Connor is a 4 Star stud rated by Rivals.com and our Staff over at OregonPreps.com.

He Holds offers from OSU, PSU, and Wyoming.

His accolades have him rated as the #1 defensive end in the region for 2014.  A powerhouse kid with an amazing get off which should come out at the Combine in the 1-1’s today.

“This is amazing and I am driven to do whatever I need to do to make the US Army All American Roster next year. ”

A terrific student and a complete Blue Chip person- Connor is the real deal!

jordan morganJordan Morgan- Southridge High School

6’2″- 195 Pounds WR/ATH

Jordan is a complete athlete with speed and hands and all you can want in a big time player.  He can move between Safety and WR but his skill set seems to favor offense.

He has been a significant part of the success the Southridge Skyhawks have had for sometime now and helped take them deep into the playoffs with his efforts on both sides of the ball.

Oregon, OSU, Idaho, Minnesota, Ohio, and just a host of schools are looking at him.  This can be the biggest day of his life as he is on the verge of really big things!  Good luck Jordan.

Watch Jordan get after it in 2012

Aidan Wilder Central Catholic QuarterbackAidan Wilder- 6’0″- 190 Pounds

Central Catholic Rams QB

Here is a kid that does not get as much press as he should.  He has started as a QB since he was a Freshmen.  He is the textbook dual-threat QB and can run and make all the throws.  He looks great out of the Spread and goes under center often displaying terrific drops and fotowork.

He threw for 2100 yards and 20 TD’s in 2012 and ran for another 600 and 9 TD’s.  That was against the toughest schedule anyone played this year.

His combine number should be very good and we expect nothing but bright things from this Honors student (3.78).

Scotty Hitner Cottage Grove High School980Scotty Hitner – Cottage Grover QB

Cottage Grover HS 6’3″- 200 Pounds

Scotty plays at a smaller school in Oregon.  But that is not any indication of his talents being any less.

Great size and skill at any level Hitner was the leader in the Stats Category last year.

He threw for 3,255 yards and 35 TD’s in 2012.  He rushed for 15 more TD’s bringing his totals to 50 Touchdowns.  Not too many guys were able to do that!  Today he gets a shot at showing what small town kids can do on the biggest stage of all!

Watch Scotty in 2012

jake lacoste west albanyJake LaCoste- 5’10”- 195 Pounds

West Albany HS Running Back

Thomas Tyner set our Oregon Rushing records this season but this Junior is hot on his Tail.  The kid was the Gatorade Offensice Player Of The Year and rigthfully so.

Jake went for 3,077 Yards and 38 TDs on the Ground.  WOW!  The kid is so fast and so good.

There is little chance he does not shine at whatever he does in life and beyond.   This event is one that should really help him put his stamp on things.  Big time player and talent too!

Here is his 2012 Film and man there is a lot here to watch!

Idaho and Hawaii Kids- Yes we Cover these guys too:

chase blakley

Chase Blakley- 6’4″- 220 pounds  WR/TE/OLB/ATH

Cour d’ Alene Hifgh School

Chase is a stud.  Period.  That is all that needs to be written about him.  A 4.7 laser kid who can motor and who has a proven track record.  He has exceptional hands and is a powerhouse once he has the ball.  Good luck bringing him down.

He can no doubt become a big time OLB but he seems to lean towards offense too.   Chase was the MVP at the Northwest Elite Football Camp at Mercer Island last seasona and he got better all year long.

He holds offers from Idaho, EWU, and Washington.  So he is going to absolutly heat up in San Antonio.

Watch this Idaho stud work rigth here!

Tristan Hoge –  Highland High School 2015 Linemen

6’6″- 280 Pounds

We do not have a great shot of Tristan so we are working on that one.  He has already blown up the event and is creating some huge talk as one of the underclassmen to watch.

Tristan has offers from BYU and Boise State.  OSU is supposed to be close and the kid has two full seasons to go!    He is expected to be a 4 or 5 Star Rivals.com Recruit.

Donald Lambert – 6’1″- 170 Pounds WR Donald Lambert Moanalua

Wide Receiver –   Moanalua High School

Donald Lambert is a speedster from Hawaii who had a very good year there at Moanalua.  He appears to be the only Hawaiian at the event and he is someone we have watched this past season.

He has excellent hands and speed and we loved his film.

“This is incredible.  I see athletes like I have not seen all over the place here.  So I am a little nervous but really excited too to get out there and compete.”

We wish Donald the best.  This is a quality player right here who can really do some big things on the football field.
