Film. Film. Film. Film.
Film.
It’s a game changer for all but a few guys. If your a freak of nature athlete you don’t really need film. But those guys are 1 in 100,000 playing High School Football. The 5 Stars that anyone with a 3rd grade education could pick out of the crowd and say, “I’ll take him”; those guys have it easy. But you who are reading this report are not likely one of those guys and if you are your nodding your head in agreement. Maybe easy is not the word- but they do not have to have the Film to back up the claims at the level more typical guys would because they possess unreal size, speed, or other traits needed to dominate.
For 99% of the 1/2 of 1% who play football and get a scholarship offer to move on to compete in college you have to have film! And for you Seniors your coming into your third or fourth week and by Sunday will have a chance to put a 3 or 4 game highlight film together.
Make it short, to the point, and on target. The best of the best plays you have to show and do not add a lot of fluff or pre or post snap stuff. This is you at your best getting ready to head into mid-season and before you do you need to get film and get it online at Hudl or You Tube or Vimeo if you can. And that link along with a cover letter needs to get to the Coaches and Schools who have been in contact and or to some coaches and schools you want to play for. More on how to do this coming but get the film!
Yadie Dunmore did not have much film from his Junior season. Not that the Sheldon 2 way stud did not have some but 1) he had a hard time with production and 2) he was stuck behind Player of the Year in Oregon. A guy named Connor Strahm; you might remember him. Many of you Seniors are saying “Me Too”. A common tale for sure.
Yaddie needed help and we did what we could and that film is now out (Watch Here). His first 3 games have been beyond solid. He has almost 800 yards and 8 TD’s of total offense in 3 games and beyond that has now been able to showcase a series of great plays in succession against top opponents. Yadie has interest, they wanted film, and now he has it and is delivering it. No agent, no service, nothing special.
Will it be enough to land an offer? Historically I can say “yes” this is enough. But it is up to these schools to decide and if your following along you know there have not been many offers for the last 45 days.
That will change and we believe Yadie is one of the next to gain attention and his shot. He is fast, quick, and finishing plays on offense right and left in this film. And in three more games he can do Mid- Season Film and three more after that End of Regular Season Film, and after that Year end Highlights. And it will still be December with two months left until National Letter or Intent day.
The key for Yadie and for all you kids trying to make it is to have film ready to show and it needs to be a good representation of your best effort and ability.
Email, Call, or FB Message me if you need help. This is how the game is played! So get after it and get some film done in the next couple of weeks!
All our Best!
