If you though that Pacific NW Prep Football was over for 2014 you would be in the majority.  You would also however be wrong.  There are two teams left battling it out for a National Title and it is all happening today at the Burger King Bowl Series in Florida and will be televised on ESPNU.

#23 in the Nation- The Eastside Catholic Crusaders  are  taking on powerhouse Trinity Christian of Florida – 9AM PST.

#16  in the Nation – The Bothell (WA) Blue Train are taking on #6 in the Nation in Miami Central of Florida at 1 PM PST.

We have covered dozens of kids on both of these NW squads and you can bet that the thousands of members of the NWPR family will all be cheering today for these great teams.

Both teams won State championships to get there; Bothell beat defending 4A WIAA Champs Chiawana and Eastside Catholic played the role of giant killer taking down top rated Bellevue which has not lost a game in years to win the 3A WIAA Title.

We wish them all success in this prestigious bowl and win, lose, or draw are so thankful they are representing the Pacific NW on such a big stage.  Play safe all and let’s bring home a trophy!
