It was a great weekend for Track and Field and one of the guys who is an all time favorite of ours got it done again in the Discus. And he could have just stayed home and prepared for his future as a Wisconsin Badger on the Grid-Iron. But Walker Williams knew he needed to be there for his team and his school.
Williams launched a winning toss of 161 Feet 5 inches won the Discus going away and gained him a repeat Medal as a State Champ. He and his team did really well again in the Class 2 B Track Championships. It was great to see a big time recruit like Williams come out and compete and help him team. Knowing Walker the way we do we would expect no less.
