Sammie Long of Lakes HIgh School was offered by the UW Huskies. So he committed. But that was not honored by the UW in the end.

Sammie Long of Lakes HIgh School was offered by the UW Huskies. So he committed.  Once things changed he went looking for a home and tonight he found it.

The next chapter in Sammie Long’s life came a little bit more into view tonight.  The 6’4″ WR from Lakes High School had recently been on quite a tour trying to land a new home.  After the UW he had earlier in the year dried up earlier offer in the year he was busy looking for a home and analyzing his options.

The top WR in the Region in the preseason rankings needed a new place to call home.

Luckily he had a lot of options because he is really very good.  One of the premier wide receivers in the West tonight some big news is breaking for Sammie Long.

He has found a home at Colorado State according to Head Coach Dave Miller.
