This year the Pacific Northwest has once again shown it is a region capable from besting the best. This can be said for a number of reasons this year more then ever.

Linfield University-
A perennial powerhouse in the Division 3 – the Wildcats are in the Final Four today taking on Wisconsin-Whitewater; a team that has beaten them multiple times. Today could be the day they get over the top and make the National Championship. No matter- making it to the Final Four out of hundreds of teams in the Division. NAIA National Championship Game – December 19th Daytona Beach –
Catch the Raiders as they play to win it all for their Division. Austin Dodge of Skyview High School in Vancouver, WA is a record setting Quarterback and a kid that can play in the NFL. We covered him, like all NW kids, out of high school. Dylan Young 6’3″- 197 lbs out of North Salem was an un-recruited athlete and now with almost 1,631 yards and 21 TD’s to lead the NAIA. He too is being courted by the NFL.
Southern Oregon (12-2) plays Marian (11-2), in the NAIA Football National Championship game at noon Friday, Dec. 19 at Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach, Fla. Game is on ESPN-U
EWU is making another run for the National Championship.
Eastern Washington University
The Eagles have made this run before and they are at it again. The Division 1-AA power is in the FBS and beat Montana last week to advance to to the next round against the ISU Red Birds. There is not enough we can say about Beau Baldwin and the team. They are loaded with talent; again much of it NW players. Among those are the amazing Cooper Kupp out of the Yakima area. In 27 career games, Kupp has 187 catches for 2,937 yards and 35 receiving touchdowns. He is one of the best in the Nation and is catching footballs from All American QB Vernon Adams.
