Oregon Week 9 In Review

The Playoffs begin here in a few days and tonight we look at the week that was.  In our Oregon round table we have the following stories we have covered and want to share them with you once again!

  •  Kendrick Bourne- Idaho Offer in Hand –   Great kid.  Mustangs still alive and facing Churchill Tonight
  •  Update on Baird and Bach–  Baird is committed to PSU and his new role as an unstoppable Rusher has he and other teams wondering if this guy belongs in the backfield.   He is still firm on the Vikings but is hearing from bigger schools.  Chad Bach, 6'4"-285 Pounds, is the most technically gifted linemen in the Region.  He has the PSU offer and a preferred Walk on to Oregon.  Like a lot of top tier talent he is faced with the decision and the dilemma to Chase his ultimate Dream or take the solid scholarship offer.  Catch the complete story in one of our Double Dip Features!
  • Justin Outslay- Salem Academy- 6'5"-280 –  The kid is legit and had a break through this week with the PSU offer.  The 3.97 student athlete also has the Walk On option at Oregon and is looking at some academics.  This small school kid was one who broke out of the small school grid to make it.  But would he have gone higher had he played at a Salem area public school?  The debate is worth having!
  • Redmond – Can they win it all?  The #5 ranked Panthers are the IMC 5A State Champs and heading into the playoffs looking super strong.   No real stars.  Just a super deep team and they Beat Mtn View and Roosevelt to get to 9-0.
  • Paul Revis – Wide Receiver Scappoose HS-  #1 on the West Coast and #8 in the Nation so far this season.  Smaller athlete but a guy who is indicative of the sort of kids we have here.  Read His amazing story here!
  • Evan Voeller and AJ Glass return-  Voeller is back tonight and was last week.  Mr Glass told us he should be back by this Next week!  Wow are these kids amazing guys!
  • Sam Davis- Grant HS QB:  OregonPreps.com Player Of The Week-  This kid is a 10th grader.  His amazing arm and feet are gaining him a reputation as a Blue Chipper-   To get the Oregon Player Of the Week he went for 7 TD's and 345 yards.  Amazing really!  And his best is still to come!
  • Kearsley have Beaver fever??  Now this is just a sense we are getting.  But the big Aloha Warrior who is clearly the best linemen in the State and the Pacific Northwest this Season appears to be taking an official to OSU soon.  We have not spoken to him about this but the BYU commit is clearly acting very interested and why not?  Coach Cavanaugh has developed some of the very best in the Pac 12 and plenty of guys who have moved on to the NFL where Brayden has every right to think about going after college.  Look at Mike Remmers who is now at Tampa Bay.  Great kid from Jesuit who developed under that system.  Brayden is a super smart kid and will make the best decision for himself in the long run!
  • The Perfect ones:  Who is left with a Perfect record as the play in games start?
    • Redmond Panthers 5A 9-0
    • Silverton Foxes 5A  9-0
    • Sherwood Bowmen  5A 9-0
    • Lake Oswego Lakers  6A  9-0
    • Sheldon Irish 6A –  9-0
    • Scappoose Indians 4A 7-0
  • US ARMY ALL AMERICAN GAME Look Back
