There are a lot of ways I can tell you a story. But the story of fallen Oregon City Police Officer was already told all over the news. He was shot and killed by an insane 88 year old man who killed his wife, burned his house down, killed the 41 year old Officer and soon to be father from Oregon City, and then killed himself. That is as ugly and hateful and tragic as life gets. Period. And Officer Libke is gone. But boy is he not forgotten and it is pretty clear he left a mark for the better on all he knew.
In the pre-game before the Oregon City Pioneers and the McMinnville Grizzlies played last night Robert Libke was honored. In every way that was possible people came to watch as dozens of Veterans on Motorcycles, dozens of Police Cars, and hundreds of people memorialized his life. As the Balloons lifted off from the 50 yards line at Pioneer Memorial Stadium tears fell. Spirits rose and soared and sorrow and despair ran deep too. But through it all the collective was lifted up and the boys rose to play for their fallen friend.
I am not sure what will happen to me when I am gone. But I do hope I am remembered like this wonderful man. He was at every game this season helping out to make sure our kids were safe. And the film and photos I caught may help show you what I can not say with words. Love each other people and support one another. Because these days are a fading fast and no one is getting out alive. In the end we shall all be but dust and memories. For me the memories are important. I hope his family and friends see this.
As you watch it please let me know if you see anything. So far we have reports of people seeing angels and faces in the smoke. So far these are surreal things that have been seen.
-
At 3:13 to 3:17 a light rises from the right hand side from 3 people sitting to the left of the OC symbol. It seems to flash, lift off, and then fly into the night sky.
-
At 3:30 a light rises up (reflection?) on the left.
-
Atbabout 3:40 your going to see a light come down from the upper right hand side and while it could be a bug the camera was not picking up anything close to me. That and this light flies into the lights and never comes out.
Those that believe already know. Those that do not will have to wonder. But I already know that Officer Robert Libke was there watching out over all his boys and family and friends; in fact everyone. RIP Officer.
