The Boys of Fall come and go every year.  We follow them as they rise and we watch them leave for college every year.  And it is always hard to say goodbye as Friday’s give way to Saturday’s for the very best.

And for a few even Sunday’s are a reality.  Now at the Holidays we stop to take a look at some of the best from the last few years and pay tribute to them for how they have gone on to represent our Region.  Happy Holidays to them all and we hope you guys remember these boys back home every year and tell your college coaches there are more like you back here at home.

Have a look at some of the best of the NW in the Alumni Files- a Look Back!   Part 1 tonight and part 2 over the Holidays!  Happy Holidays to all of these terrific kids and to all of you out there.  Be safe and enjoy your quality time hopefully with family!

2012 Bellarmine Prep Grad Michael Rector is well positioned at Stanford Academically and football wise. He joined Joshua Garnett from Washington; both athlete they Huskies had wanted but who can argue with the outcome! Great job Mike as Rose Bowl Awaits.

russell

This guy… WOW! Notre Dame recruit and Mariner High School 2012 Grad Keivarae Russell; we just call him Special “K”. An injury put him into the starting lineup early in the season; he has dome really well too. 2 Interceptions; 1 against USC and one against Michigan. 52 Tackles On the Season as a Corner! He has gone the farthest so far!

sumalo

Isaac Seumalo walked onto Reser Stadium and became not only a starter at Center but seems to be a leader of an improving line. A true freshmen who at the end of 2012 everyone understood was one of the most complete linemen in the Nation. 3 More years of domination have him looking like a perennial all Pac 12 guy! Way to go 2012 Corvallis HS player!

Austin Dodge- QB from Skyview led SOU on a Championship Run this season and set Records! He was headed to 5,000 yards and was #1 in the Nation averaging almost 400 yards. How many times we tried to tell Coaches this guy was their man. They should have listened!

Josh Hill came out of Portland’s Westview High School and was a 2 Time Metro League player of the year. His road took him to Air Force, Oregon, and the last couple of years at Linfield where he is a threat to go to the house at the RB spot. A leader in the Division 3 Josh has 1 year left and will be a force!

416835_625405865123_1541083438_n

Bishop Sankey

Bishop Sankey was the “MAN” out of Gonzaga Prep a couple years back. Like many of these guys we were the first to cover them and we watched as Bishop had to make a tough decision and pull back on his verbal commit to WSU and switch to the DAWGS. It sure seems to have worked out for him and the Huskies. He rushed for 205 yards in the Bowl loss to Boise State and Bishop had almost 1500 yards this season and 16 TD’s. That makes him a premier back in the BCS Division 1. Terrific Outcome for him!
