Union High School will have for the third year in a row the services of star QB Nolan Henry. The amazing Titan has wowed fans and foes alike these past two seasons and it is all going to come to a crescendo this season as the Senior take to the gridiron.
With so many guys at the very top available in the QB Class of 2015 QB’s it is hard to see who will stand out. They all do but the question is if they all can? Brett Rypien (Shadle Park), Kimane Domena (Roosevelt), Cade Smith (West Salem), and Ross Bowers (Bothell) all have offers. And all of the guys on our growing QB list for 2015 are looking the part; we believe they all will make it. So how does a guy stand out?
Try having a 4.33 GPA, and 1,850 SAT, doing Mission work in Africa, and having a full off season schedule. That is what Nolan has going for him. Last season he went off for 214/338 (63.3%), 2,971 yds, 19 passing TDs, 6 rushing TDs. And Henry may be the fastest of this bunch next to Domena. The duo just went out to the Pylon Sports 7 on 7 in Vegas and both performed well and had a great time. And that is the start of a very busy schedule.

What about college contacts?
“So far UW, WSU, Colorado, Arizona State, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Nevada, Cornell, and some others have all been in touch,” said Henry.
His mobility is something that helps him stand out too.
Nolan talked about that briefly, “I am definitely mobile as a QB and can use that ability as another dimension of the offense or as a way to extend a play.”
He is laying out a set of camps and visits and plans to hit the ground running in this off season. And things are really starting to heat up according to him.
Keep an eye on Nolan Henry and all of these QB’s – it is going to be a NW QB class to remember.
