NWPR: Is there any recent news on the Collegiate front? Have you been contacted by any schools via phone, em,ail, mail, text, or Facebook etc?
I have an offer from Montana. Talking with Utah State, Washington State, Utah, Portland state, Montana State, Idaho State, Idaho, Arizona, UTEP, Boise State, Wyoming, and Colorado.
NWPR: How is the Season Going so far for you and the Team?
The summer has been a tough one, but it has been great for my team. The work is being put in and I can see my improvement as well as improvement from my team. We are starting to gear up for Fall ball and starting to move into season mode. It’s crunch time and going into a new division in 4A we know that we need to work as hard as possible.
What Position(s) are you playing this season?
I will be playing left tackle and defensive end. But my primary position is left tackle.
NWPR: Are you happy with your progress?
I am very happy with my progress. I have improved my speed and agility a lot this offseason and I improved all my maxes on my lifts by at least 20 pounds.
NWPR: What is your favorite part of the Football season?
My favorite part is when you have a game that goes down to the wire. I love playing in all games but when you have a close game it makes the game that much better. It makes the game unforgettable.
In a year from now what do you want to look back on and remember about this season that is just ahead?
I want to say that I gave it my all in my senior year and didn’t give it 110%. I want to have no regrets and hopefully by giving my best my team can make it deep into the playoffs and hopefully win a state championship which is always our goal.
Name some guys who you have been impressed with on your team? Any surprises or young guys standing out?
Ryan McVey is going to be a junior lineman for us next year and I have been extremely impressed with him. He has a great work ethic and is an all around great player. Jojo our quarterback has been working hard and showing that he is ready to take the helm for our team. Also Andrew Thompson a linebacker and Cameron Davis another lineman have been working extremely hard and will be a big part of our team next year.
NWPR: Why should a college recruit you when there are so many kids out there? What sets you apart?
I am a hard worker. I will never give up on something. I want to finish everything I start and want to do it to the best of my ability. I am very coachable and want to get better at everything. I want to be the best and will do whatever it takes to get there.
