We never know why some kids grab early offers and others struggle to land that first one late into the process.  One reason is exposure and one is that kids play out of position in High School in terms of the best fit going into college.  One of those kids this season is Mason Bradley of arch Bishop Murphy.

Mason Bradley at 6'4"- and 220 lbs is an exciting prospect to watch. Coaches have a look at this kids film!

Mason is 6’4″ and 220 Lbs. plus and had played a lot of linebacker as well as offensive and defensive line.  This season he has done some of all of those.  After reviewing his film and seeing him devastate opposing offensive linemen we are of the opinion that he has found a great fit at defensive end.

Watching him fend blocks off and speed to the ball making tackle after tackle for loss has us convinced.  The aggressive style he brings to the position is derived from having a linebackers mindset.  He loves to attack and does a great job of it.

Bradley can fill out to 250 in a heart beat; probably more.  He is wide, angular, and quick.

His potential at Linebacker and Offensive Guard / Center in college is very real too.  We just think that DE spot is a natural for his skill set and body type.

Mason Bradley now has a full profile at NWPR with all his film and contact info- See his Profile here-

“When I am not playing football I enjoy spending time Hunting and Fish with my Father and Uncle, and spending time with friends and family. My Father played at UW, so we try to make it to a few games a year, which I really enjoy,” said Mason.  “I feel like my speed and strength are my greats skills as a football player, I am a hard worker and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. I feel like I could work on run/pass reaction time, occasionally I over think my rules, just need to go.”

He has had contact with  WSU, Eastern, Idaho, OSU, Portland State so far and a host of smaller schools.

Congrats to Mason Bradley on the accomplishments he has made so far.  We expect his future to include college football as well.
