Sophomore Kimane Domena is one of several talents Rough Riders enjoying a resurgence of the program at Portland's Roosevelt High School
He is still just a kid. But Roosevelt High School's Kimane Domena, a 2015 graduate, grew up a whole bunch today as a recruit when he received his first offer. And it came from a school known for putting out some mighty good Quarterbacks.
"Kimane was offered today by BYU today," said Head Rough Riders Coach Christian Swain. "This is a huge development for him and for the program."
Domena did all sorts of things this year to get colleges excited. Those things included 1700 yards Passing, and 800 yards rushing. Oh yes 37 Touchdowns and an 8 yards per carry average. Not too bad!
"He is special and has overcome a lot of things to get here. The great thing about Kimane is he is a great prospect all the way around. Heis a great QB and can play defense too. We can nto sing his praises high enough. He is really special," added Swain.
We Concur. One look at this speed, size, arm, and ability to break plays and you will see he is simply superb.

"Bronco Mendenhall spoke to me at length about him. They love him and he is really seriously looking at them because he realizes the caliber of that program. Really he can play for anyone. We are all so very proud and he is so excited too," added Swain.
Enough said. Kimane Domena is on a steep line up now. The question now is not who else will jump in on him but when? We love Kimane and he is now right at the top of the 2015 recruits list for 2015.
Congrats to him and to Coach Swain and Roosevelt for investing not only their time but their lives to get kids like this on their way in the world. More to come!
