The young man about to take the reigns of the Bellevue Wolverines, Junior QB Justus Rogers, in a far different player then he was last season. His passing game has come leaps and bounds through the help of Lavelle Durant; his QB trainer and a top private Coach in the NW. His size is evidently bigger as he heads to 6’3″ and 215 lbs. Justus is powerful, can RUN, and the arm is going to be something to see.
Bellevue may not be known for throwing the ball but believe me when I say they can. They have multiple weapons they can unleash into the passing game and Rogers will be only too happy to oblige. The disciplined Wing-T is what it is. Powerful and unstoppable. Better believe it will be on display in the Honor Bowl against Serra in California on National TV as this season opens. Only a Junior Rogers is set to turn some heads and ready to lead.
We caught up to him for a few minutes at the end of the NWEFC Camp and here is what he had to say.
