Eastside Review: Week 7 By Jerry Mercado
Eastside Notes***
Everything in the Big 9 has been inconsistent except the Eastmont Wildcats. They have given up the least amount of points in the division and have the #1 offense. Darin Hardgrove has 1,000 yards with 11 TDs and has a 7.9 yard per carry average. On defense Trenton Osbourne has 6 picks which leads both the Big9 and MCC.
- The Chiawana Riverhawks have ripped off 4 wins in a row behind JR. QB Joey Zamora. After being injured to start the year he has started to finish strong with 1,014 yards 10 TD passes and only 3INTs.
- Wenatchee’s Isaiah Brandt-Sims does it all. He has 17 total TDs. He has 882 yards on the ground with 13 TDs and 261 yards receiving with 4TDs.
- Walla Walla’s SR. RB. Jonah Hoe continues to rip through defenses. He leads the league in yards 1303 and TDs 15.
- According to @ScoreCzar Gonzaga Prep and Mead are in the top 10 rankings for 4A. Both teams out of the 4A are to be reckoned with out of the GSL.
Eastside perspective on Bellevue. Please just stop talking mess to these guys. It’s bad enough that they very well could be the best high school football team in the Nation but to give them motivation by talking trash just fuels their fire.
49-3 at halftime versus Mount Si is a perfect example.
I must say that I’ve covered almost all the top prospects in the State and with these eyes Myles Jack is the best ball player I’ve seen in a long time.
Best overall player in the State hands down!!
