Jason Sperle of McNary High Break Out – 2 Minute Drill

We are featuring today one of the athletes who responded on our NWPR 2 Minute Drill Form.  Jason Sperle is a terrific linemen we saw at the NWEFC Camp June 6th in Seattle.  Jason impressed us with his technique and his power and showed us that even though he is only going to be a Junior he is ready to compete with the best of the best!  Soundly coached by rising star Head Coach Isaac Parker the 6’2″- 285 lb. Sperle is a beast to say the least.  He projects really well at Center and could move around the line based on where his height ends up.  Here is the 2 Minute Drill update for him!
Jason Sperle is a rising star at the linemen position and will be a leader in his Class of 2016 at Center and interior O line for recruiting. The 6'2"- 285 lb McNary HS Grad is on the rise!

NWPR: Is there any recent news on the Collegiate front? Have you been contacted by any schools via phone, em,ail, mail, text, or Facebook etc?
Nothing at this time I am going to be a Junior but I go to as many camps I can go to to get coached and learn from the best. One notable camp was the Northwest Elite Football Camp June 6th I attended and got on the top O-Line list breaking the top 20 best!
NWPR: How is the Season Going so far for you and the Team?
This season is going to be one to remember our summer work outs and camps have been going great! Our team is a top contender to win the GVC this year! We have lots of starters coming back and lots of senior leadership this season. McNary is on the rise!
NWPR: What Position(s) are you playing this season?
I play varsity center and started all games as a sophomore for varsity this past year. Not only do I play center I am also a long snapper too I started all games as a pat long snapper as a sophomore! I also play goal line for defense.
NWPR: Are you happy with your progress?
I definitley feel my strengths are my IQ for the game and my physicality . I am a vary hard worker and I do what it takes to get the job done. I also am a good leader I take pride in being a vocal leader which can be hard for some but it comes natural to me. My progress is a great I’ve made big jumps from last year not only in the weight room but as a leader too.
NWPR: What is your favorite part of the Football season?
My favorite part about football season is walking out on Friday nights under the lights seeing the stands packed and playing your biggest rival in the league and knowing that all your hard work is about to pay off from the week of practice and all the off season preparation! I love everything about the game it teaches you qualities about life and how to fight through adversity when the going gets tuff but if you keep on the right path and you buy in to what your team is trying to do you will see successful results!
In a year from now what do you want to look back on and remember about this season that is just ahead?
I want to look back say to myself I’m a winner! Either that being winning the GVC title or state title I want to look back and be a winner! With that I want to be able to look back and remember the path I created through hard work and dedication and hope that the younger kids in our program will follow in my same foot steps! Last off I want to put McNary on the maps as one of the elite football programs!
Name some guys who you have been impressed with on your team? Any surprises or young guys standing out?

ON: Why should a college recruit you when there are so many kids out there? What sets you apart?
What sets me apart from the rest is my leadership qualities I bring to the table and my IQ for the game not to mention I’ve learned all the techniques and fundamentals of being a great offensive lineman from our head varsity coach/lineman coach who played in college Isaac Parker he has given me so many tools to use in every situation that could occur in a game and how to react to them.
