Here are his Stats for the Season:

1,684 Yards Rushing/Receiving

Average of 17 yards per catch and 6 yards per carry

Connor Strahm A Study In Dominance

Every season there are a few guys that stand out for their size or their speed.  Maybe they are labeled as a "Ball-Hawk" or as a "Big-Hitter".  But to truly rise to the top of the collegiate radar you have to have it all.  Not one of these facets but all of them.

For the Oregon Class of 2013 Sheldon High School's Connor Strahm is that guy.  The 6'1" and 210 pound Wide Receiver and Defensive Back has the whole package of size, speed, strength, and skill.  Something he proved in 2011 helping the Irish make it to the Championship.

Here are his Stats for the Season:

1,684 Yards Rushing/Receiving

Average of 17 yards per catch and 6 yards per carry

26 TD's

7 Interceptions, 3 Pass Deflections, 1 Forced Fumble, 1 Fumble Recovery, and 1 Blocked Field Goal.  Not a bad years work.

Connor was 1st Team All State on Offense, 1st Team All State on Defense, SWC Offensive Player of the Year, and SWC First Team Defensive Back

Now those stats are eye popping.  But it is his physical presence on the field, his Football IQ, and his ability to break a game wide open that make him even more special.  Sheldon is a loaded squad and will only get better this season it appears.  On most team Strahm would be the main weapon and rack up even more Stats.

Colleges are paying attention.  His mail box is filling up.  Right now he is being pursued the hardest by Montana, Portland State, Boise State, Oregon State, Princeton, Utah, and San Diego.

Portland State and Montana have offered Strahm so far.  Both Big Sky schools which would be a great fit for him.  He may be destined for the Pac 12 but only time will tell.

"My plan is to do well at the 7 on 7 events, and then just work out until the Summer camps start.   After camps at Boise State, Oregon State, and Montana, I'll start concentrating on winning a State Championship," offered Strahm.

We have attached his film here for your review.  A careful watch and his ability to dominate on the field comes across loud and clear.  We look forward to the season at hand for this young man and will follow up on his emerging story.
