Conner Crist out of Tigard High School is already back to work on the football circuit working on his game. The 6’4″- 305 lb bruiser prides himself on his technical ability and truly is on a path top move on and play at the D-1 level. He project best as as Guard or Center but in a frame like his a spot as a Defensive Tackle or Nose Guard is also a solid option.
We had a chance to watch the big man at the Barton Football Academy event Sunday where we made our first appearance in a few years. Line Coach Alex Linnenkohl does a great job imparting his Pac 12 wisdom to the kids and Crist was being critiqued often and listening. Linnenkohl was a Capital High Graduate (Olympia) before moving on to Oregon State where he tore it up so to speak as a top tier Center.
Crist showed good feet and a punch with a snap to it as the battles went on. He and Jay R Mataia of Evergreen HS in Vancouver, also a top tier defensive end, got after it pretty good at camp. Crist showed why he is highly thought of an being recruited by several schools.
We interviewed Conner who went into last season, the State Title shot, and the road ahead for his recruitment. Catch that and Conner’s Contact Information below at his Premier Prospects page which has generated over a Thousand Views in just 6 days as well as his HUDL Film (Click Here Too)!
